——常熟市颜港小学简介

　　梦想从这里起航 ——常熟市颜港小学简介 “七溪流水皆通海，十里青山半入城”。美丽的虞城中心坐落着一所典雅庄重，朝气蓬勃的校园——常熟市颜港小学。学校创办于1985年，毗邻常熟最繁华的商业圈方塔东街，是我市第一所居民新村小学。

　　学校环境优美，布局合理，目前有教学班27个，学生1171名。学校占地面积15409平方米，建筑面积12223平方米，绿化覆盖率达20.4%。学校资源有效整合，师资均衡配备，学历结构持续优化，74名专任教师学历全部达标，其中教育硕士5人，本科学历为70人。学校重视师资，以《共生理念下小学教师支架式校本发展机制的实践研究》课题引领全体教师协同发展，通过多种形式完善教师职后培养体系。骨干教师占教师总数的52.7%。学校每门学科均有市级以上骨干教师引领。学校微机房、图书阅览室等相应的专用活动室、功能教室区域规划科学，安排合理。

　　教室内班班配有希沃电脑一体机、饮水机等现代化教育设备；多功能室内电脑、液晶投影仪、音响设备等配置细化。建有未来教室，200米环形塑胶跑道，500平方米室内体育馆以及较为齐全的体育器材为学生活动提供方便。学校建有校园信息高速公路系统，校园网站，实现了高标准班班通、数字化和网络化多媒体教学，生机比为8:1。建设好教育资源信息库，实现了无纸化办公、数字化校园。学校藏书38455册，生均32.9册。学校以“发展好每一位教师，培育好每一个学生，人人尽享公平优质的教育”为指导思想，以“全面发展，学有所长”为办学理念，规范办学行为，加强常规管理，将此作为促进均衡发展的有效抓手，真正把时间还给学生，把空间还给学生，把快乐还给学生。调整充实学校德育工作委员会和家长工作委员会，推动德育创新发展，促进学生全面健康成长。

-------An  introduction of Yan Gang primary school

LOCATION
        Situated in the  center of Yu Cheng City, which was described as a city “whose rivers run  through it into the sea, while part of the green mountain constitute the town”,  Yan Gang Primary School  is famous for its elegance and vitality. Founded in 1985 and with easy access  to the most flourishing business circle in Yu Cheng—the Fang Ta Street---our school is marked the  first community primary school in city.

STUDENTS & STAFF
        Yan Gang primary  school is located on a 15409 square meters campus with a structure area of  12223 square meters. Covered by trees and grass up to 20.4% of the campus, the  school is ideally arranged in a gorgeous environment. Up till now, we have 1170  students in 27 classes. To provide better education for students, our school  enriches teaching resources and perfects the staff structure. Of all 74  teachers, up to 70 hold bachelor degrees, which accounts for 94.6% of all. Our  school also builds up a comprehensive post-job training system, having 39 Key  Teachers in different subject areas.

FACILITIES
        The center of  School stands a 5- story-building, housing more than 30 modern classrooms, all  equipped with computers, televisions and water dispensers. Here you can also  find the purpose-built Computing Centre, Library and Multi-functioning Room  well equipped with computer, projector and audio supplies.
         Besides the  teaching building is playing fields which include a 200-meter plastic ring  track. To cater for special sports needs, our school also has a  500-square-meter Sports Hall just to the east of the playground, in which you  can find various kinds of sports facilities.
        The school  website and the teaching resource information base made true the multimedia  teaching, educational informatization and paperless office with an average  student/computer ratio of 8:1. The school library has a collection of 38445  books, that is 32.9 books per student.

　　Guided by the motto  of “perfect every teacher, nurture every student and provide excellent and  equal education for every pupil”, Yan Gang primary school aspires to be  respected as a community committed to developing individuals who see and act  upon the breadth of opportunity the world presents. Our school established the  parent board and moral education board with the purpose of promote the healthy  development of students. By strength Routine Management, we strive to offer the  students with time to explore space to be creative and true love of learning.
